As a Director and a Director of Photography, I capture life in stories, frames, TVCs, digital and branded content, and beyond. My work balances modern and unmistakable aesthetic with culturally rooted narratives that are honest, confrontational and daring. This balance is what defines me.
Growing up amid the lush of Kerala, for as far back as I can recall, everywhere I turned, I could picture a frame around the world before my eyes. My love for framing the beauty of the world was well-known, even then, among my friends and peers.
Being a graduate in Mechanical Engineering (PRSCET, Kerala), precision has always been my forte. This very keen eye for detail helped me segue conveniently from tech to filmmaking, which I had never let go of since my childhood days. From borrowing a friend’s Sony Cybershot, all the way to now establishing myself as a Director and Director of Photography, the artist in me has always had room to learn and grow, alongside the moral compass in me.
I have been shooting and editing professionally for the last seven years now. Quite a few of my projects since, have garnered millions of organic impressions and applause each.
Not too long ago, Good Ads Matter, a Purpose Studios initiative, launched a series of Roundtables with panels featuring some of the most acclaimed Directors, Cinematographers, Producers, Agency CCOs and other industry veterans. For this project too, I vanguarded a team of Cinematographers as the Director of Photography while also heading the Post Production team.
The response to my projects like Hrithik Roshan’s Transformation Film, “Kabir and Beyond” (90M+ views across social media platforms), House of Pataudi’s three-part campaign, “Stories of Love” (Silver winner of the Best Regional Communication Campaign at the Kaleido Awards 2020 by Brand Equity), and "Tales of Love" for Pawfectly Made (millions of positive impressions across the internet) has consistently proven one truth:
